Passionate about health, and sharing culture, we combined beloved ingredients into the drink we now call HIBEE original.

HIBEE is to share, for a relaxing session at a cafe, on a terrace, at a picnic or just on the go for those who enjoy a healthy but delicious drink. For those who get bored, forget their headphones or take a second look, the HIBEE cans only add to the experience with witty messages that evoke reflection, a laugh or sometimes even a simple story to fill hearts along with stomachs. Drink HIBEE for the same reasons that you listen to podcasts, watch movies or have snacks. Not merely to fill time or boredom but to feel fulfilled. HIBEE's story is rich and its community is diverse and so is the experience of HIBEE.

Our Hibiscus

From Dakar, Senegal

Hibiscus is most commonly consumed as 'Bissap' in Senegal. We supply our Hibiscus from Mboro, 100km from the capital Dakar.

Hibiscus is hand-sown, cultivated, and dried locally. The plant is historically known for its medicinal benefits and rich flavour. Hibiscus has been carried across the globe by travelling people and the African diaspora. Thus Hibiscus drinks are known as Zobo, Sorelle, Karkade (كركديه), Nam Krachiap (น้ำกระเจี๊ยบ) and Agua de Jamaica amongst many others.

You can see Hibiscus is truly multicultural and with HIBEE, using that very Hibiscus in all our products, we aim to celebrate its rich history and flavour.
